WANT TO KNOW THE QUICKEST WAY TO GET NOWHERE IN YOUR BUSINESS?

Trying to talk to everyone. Trying to make everyone happy. Trying to be kinda relevant to everyone, instead of aiming to be the absolute ‘go-to’ for someone(s).

‘Cause as the old saying goes, if you talk to everyone, you’ll be talking to no one.

Why?

👎 ‘Cause you can’t pinpoint specific pain points of your potential clients and address them compellingly + consistently.

👎 ‘Cause you can’t create authority and credibility in a specific area.

👎 And you can’t have a unique selling point that says I do *this* for *those people* to get *this exact result*. {AKA the “I am the one for you” message.}

And that? Means you just don’t cut through. 😔

BUT If you get more specific in who you serve and start targeting one group of {ideal} people? I can guarantee…

⚡️Your message will resonate better and stand out to potential clients 10x more effectively.

⚡️You’ll have people sliding into your DMs saying, “it’s like you were talking right to me!!” ‘Cause, well, you were. And that’ll happen right before they ask how they can work with you.

⚡️And instead of having 10,000 people that kinda-like-you-but-not-enough-to-ever-work-with-you, you’ll instead have 1000 people ready to throw their money at you. A much better outcome for your satisfaction and your bank balance.

Why? ‘Cause YOU are clearly now the GO-TO for THEM!

And if you’re still here with me on my soapbox, let me tell you that this {only talking to a specific group or ideal community} doesn’t need to be scary.

Let’s say you’re a nutritionist who loves working with children and parents. But right now, you’re just trying to talk to everyone. And not only are you not cutting through, you’re not doing the work you love.

Well, guess what. It’s time to ‘niche’ or get more specific with who you serve.

You don’t need to get stupidly-ultra-specific, like targeting only mums in Brisbane who have a 6-year-old daughter whose name starts with a B who won’t eat broccoli on a Tuesday… ’cause that’s not a wide enough viable market to survive.

But *do* get clear on who you serve. E.g. you support parents to get their primary school aged children to eat a more balanced diet… without the tantrums over vegetables.

And that? That is the “I AM THE ONE FOR YOU” offer. The solution to cutting through. And standing out in your industry above all the rest.

The one that will now have parents banging down your door and telling their friends about you, instead of the people that kinda liked you before, but you weren’t the solution for them {or, well, anyone}.

So go on, get more specific and watch the rewards roll in.
