Copywriting that gets RESULTS in your captions and headlines {or anywhere else!} does NOT need to be hard. 

I know by now you’ve proooooobably heard how important it is to use a “hook” in your copy – AKA a first line that catches someone’s eye using keywords, their desires, curiosity and more…

And you prooooooobably know that having a call to action at the end of copy can have ‘em thinking, acting or engaging…

But what about the REST of your caption or copy? 

How can you improve THOSE words to make your copy catch the eye of customers and clients perfect for your biz or offer? 😍⚡️

Well, here are 5 copywriting tips today that can help you uplevel your copy in seconds! 👉

ADD NUMBERS TO YOUR MARKETING AND WRITE THEM AS THE NUMERAL – LIKE “5”

The brain loves numerals, and it also catches more attention – drawing the eve in a sea of words.

USE THE WORD “YOU” OR “YOUR”

This heading could have said “5 quick tips to uplevel copy” but it doesn’t… ’cause YOU matter{s]. Add in you/your in headings, hooks and subject lines and also speak like you are just speaking to ONE person whenever you write.

REMEMBER THE ‘POWER OF 3’

When adding benefits or descriptions, add three things where you can. AKA “connect, compel, convert” vs “connect and convert”. “Snap, crackle and pop” vs “crackle and pop”.

USE ALLITERATION

This means using words starting with the same sound near each other. This creates a pleasant poem that pleases people’s brains {see how I used all the “p” sounds there? That is alliteration}.

CREATE YOURSELF SOME BRAND WORDS

Brand words are words you use consistently everywhere you exist to sound uniquely YOU – from socials to your website to emails and beyond. For example I say “biz” instead of business, “seen, loved + selling” to explain how I help and shorten words like ’cause and ’em. Find yours, use ’em everywhere. {HINT: they are often how you naturally speak!

AND REMEMBER:

It’s WHAT you are writing about that matters. Substance and strategy is everything.
